We are staying at the dolphin and know the parks are very busy on the holidays but we dont feel like spending 12- 13 hrs in the park on xmas day so we would like to relax by the hotel and enter epcot around 3 pm. Does anyone know if Epcot has ever closed on xmas day? or is it only Magic Kingdom? Any help is greatly appreciated as we have a candelight processional package booked that night.
Thanks again

We were there last Christmas Day. We started out at MK until around noon, then left and went to Epcot with no problems. There were lots of people there, but it didn't seem overly croweded. Have a great time!

You shouldn't have a problem that time of the afternoon at Epcot, but every year is different, so there is no absolute guarantee. Epcot is generally the last park to close, simply because it has more physical space than the others and can hold more people. There is, of course, always a chance that you'll be turned away, but you should be fine.

Last New Years Eve we had no problem getting into the park at 5:00 PM (we weere staying onsite). We were told this is the last park to fill up. Staying on site you are guaranteed entry, so I would highly doub that they would turn you away and send you to one of the other more crowded parks.
