Do you think I have a problem w/rewards?

Has this ever happened to you?....

You go to lunch, pay with cash, get the coin change & quickly think "this is like getting $0.30 for signing up for an offer on SR/QR/etc!! Too bad I couldn't add it to my account! I could be this much closer to getting a Disney gift card!!"

Is there something wrong w/me??

Instead, I put those coins in a basket which I have now affectionately called it my COIN REWARD basket & will "cash out" right before I leave to bring actual US Dollars scared: ) with me!!



Just wanted to share my insanity with all my reward friends!!

that's funny Jen. I actually have delegated the collecting of change to my bf since he tends to use cash whereas I don't. So my responsibility for next wdw trip is to earn rewards money and his is to save his lunch change.

But i will say I have the worst habit of picking change up off the ground. I collected about $0.20 (pennies of course) in the chuch parking lot last weekend and saying WDW money as I did it. Maybe I should go to church more often.

How about when you can't decide if you should use cash to get coins for your "Disney jar" or the Disney Visa to collect points?!?! Oh my, we all have the same disease.......

I think about money, especially change a lot differently since I started doing rewards. My DH laughs at me when I log on first thing in the morning to get a few cents-but it all adds up. Besides, he checks the coin return slots on pay phones and newspaper bins. I have always picked up change off of the ground. I'll also pick up an aluminum can. We are obsessed!

2 days in a row I hit 3 cents on SR. I was SO happy you would have thought I won something big. But to me, it was BIG!!!

DH got aggravated with me on the computer until he saw the cards coming through the mail. He is finally starting to understand...and he knows not to spend ANY of the change. It goes directly in the Disney jar.

OMG! I totally laughed out loud w/that one! I dont think I'll be able to pick up another coin & NOT say WDW money! WDW money!

I totally know what you mean! Disney Visa=Disney Rewards=Disney Spending Money=Disney Trip=Happy Jen!!

ROFL! we just had a similar discussion at our house.
Usually I am not happy when dh gets on an ebay buying kick, but I just got finish telling him to SIGN INTO one of my reward accts before he bid on ANYTHING else. LOL
