Do you think I can change an ADR for 3 to 4 without changing the time?

My sister has decided she might join us for dinner on our trip a month from now. She lives within driving distance to WDW..so she is planning on just "popping over to have dinner with us":rolleyes1 I won't know what day until the last minute. What are my chances of of keeping my reservations for the same time?? I am thinking that a table for 3 should be able to fit a fourth without an issue.:rolleyes1 What do you think?

Thanks

It depends on where you are eating and what time. We have seen people with "extra guests" turned away at Ohana, CM and CRT.

I had to do this once before and since I was going from 3 to 4 it was not a problem. The CM explained that most parties of 3 are put at a table for 4 anyway, so adding one to the empty chair was very simple. Good luck, I hope it works for you...:goodvibes

It's hard to say - depending upon the restaurant and the how busy they are.
Last night I had to change my ADRs for first week in Sept from 6 to 4 people. I was able to keep all my restaurants and the changes in time were within 15 minutes of the original time.

It would be great if your sister can give you an idea of what day she will be popping by - even if she can narrow it down to 2 or 3. The only other suggestion I can give you is make your dinner ADRS for 4 people now. It's easier for the restaurant if you show up one perosn less than one person more. You know you can put 3 people at a table for 4, but sometimes may not be able to fit 4 at a table for 3.

Good Luck

Going from three to four shouldn't be a problem. However, what I would do is give your sister the phone number for Disney dining and a list of your reservations. Then when she decides to "just pop in", SHE can call and make the change to the reservation. Sorry, but why should you have to concern yourself with this while you are on vacation?

Thanks everyone! I wish I could get her to firm up some plans but that is just not something she does! LOL She has always been a live for the moment type person.:hippie: :dance3: :hippie: I am the planner in the family :surfweb:
