Do you think DL will get to capacity for park hopping on 7/17?

I’m heading to DL for two days in July, specifically 7/16 and 7/17. The 16th is my birthday and I’d like to start out at DL and hop over to DCA, so it would maybe make sense to start at DCA on the 17th but that is the birthday/anniversary of DL, and I definitely want to spend time in that park. Do you think it would get to capacity and they would shut off park hopping? I’m not really concerned about getting on specific rides, just prefer the old school DL stuff and would like to spend a good part of both days there. Do you think there will be any special fireworks that evening?

There is never a problem with crowds on July 17.

Other than a very quick character cavalcade, there is no fanfare.

Thanks! I was there for these same dates five years ago and everything went great, just wasn’t sure with this 100 celebration.

Since it's not a Disneyland specific anniversary, it won't be an issue.

I remember that. That was an anomaly for sure. Such a fun celebration though!
