Do you think Disneyland should open a Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland?

I often wonder if Disneyland could open a Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland? Because seeing how popular Be Our Guest Restaurant is in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World a Disneyland version would be nice and if Disneyland had it's Be Our Guest Restaurant it would be done correctly with Belle and Gaston hosting a character breakfast in the mornings and then at dinner hours Belle and The Beast would visit and like the Magic Kingdom version diners would take pictures with The Beast after their meal and Belle would give out autographs and so would The Beast at each table. And it would be a very smart idea for Disneyland to put a restaurant in Fantasyland and Be Our Guest would be the perfect choice

It is a nice idea but it is very expensive but nice food. I also do not think there is room in Fantasyland to build it and the Red Rose Taverne has the Beauty and the Beast theme. Fantasyland is already packed in with attractions and limited walking space, The Plaza Inn already has character breakfasts so Be Our Guest breakfasts would be duplicative and not cost effective for Disney.

I've never experienced Be Our Guest, but I don't really like the idea of trying to stuff it into Fantasyland. If there was that kind of room, I'd prefer an attraction.

However, if they could create a dining venue in the castle (or possible added to the castle), that might be cool. But I don't know that you could do that without upsetting the beauty and proportions of the Disneyland castle, which I wouldn't want.

I have been to BOG at MK and it is novel and pretty well decorated but it's also huge and in every way reminds me of the excess of the Florida parks and especially MK in general. It felt like a really nice cafeteria with table service. My wish would be making MK more like DL and not the other way around.

Yes. Disney is already so expensive, some people may NEVER get a chance to go to Disney World. I think everyone should get to experience what both places have to offer.

I don't see how you could replicate everything. I like that the parks are not carbon copies of one another. WDW has the luxury of space that DLR does not, at least at this point.

Sit down restaurants don’t do as well at DLR, for many reasons. BOG is priced at $72pp in WDW. Restaurants are priced higher ar DLR, so its be closer to $80. You’d have a hard tiem attracting many locals at that price. Disney food is generally very good, but the people who think it’s superb are the ones who don’t eat out much beyond WDW.

We’re lucky to have Cathay Circle, which is the only restaurant at any domestic Disney park to feature scratch meals prepared by an in house chef.

Yeah, I know, there are plenty of WDW folks who didn’t think it was good but also rave about microwaved food from various WDW restaurants (yes they do that, DL does too). There are also many Disney fanatics who think that the instant mashed potatoes on Diseny Cruise main dining room are superior to fresh scratch cooked in Royal’s premium dining room. Pixie dust is a powerful drug.

Napa Rose isn't scratch made by an in house chef?

I mean, while maybe we don't need the full thing...I would not mind the Red Rose Taven to get a better look on the inside, its not bad but feel like they could add some really cool theming like making one of the eating area's into the library

It would be insanely popular. Put it where they have their theater because they never hsve anything good there anymore. Better yet bring back the Beauty and the Beast show
