Ever since we booked it I can't get it out of my head, cant wait to get married and really can't wait to go on expedition everest again....

Went for our first trip in October 2010. Started thinking about our next trip while still at Disney. We leave in May for a 10 day tripper, and I am obsessed! My mom makes fun of me constantly saying I am a dork for having a binder and such. She doesn't realize that there are others like me out there. We have a countdown calendar on the fridge that the kids sticker up every day, and the girls have savings charts for their Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique day. I can't wait to start getting my window decorations, b/c that was something I didn't know about until the Disboards! Dork alert!!! I am already planning the next two trips in my head. Our trip in May is so planned out I am already looking for new things to plan! I need help.

This time we're brining first timers with us. They think I'm crazy because of all my spreadsheets, touring plans, etc. I'm sure after this one trip they'll be hooked!

The hardest part is not telling the kids. DH and I have decided to wake them up on the morning we're leaving with "We're going to Disney" shirts. I'm always talking about it but so nervous to spoil the surprise!

I had never thought to do a big reveal with the kids before today. I saw some videos on utube about it, and loved the idea. I may try and do that next time. I usually do a countdown calendar, so it will be hard for me to keep my mouth shut. It would also be hard to hide 14 packed bags...I guess I could have them taken out of the house on an errand for the day...hhhmmmm... I may try it next time. It would certainly be fun.

Glad i'm not alone...

I think about it everyday, all day! I've been planning my first trip to Disney for over a year and have less than 5 months before i'm finally there. Before finding the disboards, I was on allears.net and mousesavers.com everyday, several times a day. A co-worker introduced me to the dis in the nick of time because I was running out of stuff to read !

I'm a fanatic without every having been!!!!

I was on the car ride home from Disney on NYday 21 (days ago) and was on my droid planning our next trip for this April. Now I have to get ready for next Dec trip! Thats why I am Always Planning!

I am thankful to have others like me! Yes it is an addiction!

That is great your husband is into it too! Mine likes to go but we don't really talk about it much. I just come on the boards and plan. It's fun. Wishing our trip wasn't over a year away though! BTW, we were there Dec 10 - 17 in December and it was great (but freezing!!!!!) The Christmas decorations are awesome You will have a great time.

We went to the parks and did a land/sea package in 2009 and we are cruising the Dream in June! I cannot wait!! I'm always thinking of what we are going to see or what things I can take pictures of this time! Can't wait to take my fish eye lens out to castaway cay!!
My friends know that if they are planning a trip I'm always available to answer questions and help plan!! My husband teases me that I spend more time thinking and planing our Disney trips then we spend on the vacation!! Just can't help it!

Glad to know that this is "normal"!! I had originally planned a 3 day cruise on the Dream for next January with my 11 year old daughter (we finally reached the under one year mark on that!) and I'm so excited that I couldn't wait. So now my sister and I are going in August without our kids! Each trip is so different and I can't stop looking on this board for information about the Dream and preparing for our ADRs, etc. I hope I won't lose my mind by August!

We are planning a March 2012 trip and I think about it everyday! I wish it was sooner! We we just there mid December but it seems like an eternity ago. Plus it was COLD and I feel like although it was fun and great the coldness made it feel not quite right! I want to go back!

Does anyone else think about their trip even though it is far away?

We have been planning our upcoming trip for the last year and a half and to answer your question, YES! I have thought about this trip every single day since. It is what gets me through the day sometimes. Just knowing I have a trip coming up makes me happy. Then, when it is over and we are home I will feel sad. So....I will have to start plannig another!!

I haven't been to WDW since 2007, I really hadn't given it much thought. I just always figured we didn't have the $$ to spend on a Disney trip. THEN as i was planning a trip to Vegas for me and DH I came across the military ticket discounts. Then I started looking into it and found it would be cheaper for DH, DS6, and me to go to WDW and stay on property then for DH and I to go to Vegas. Soooo... I started looking into it and came across this WONDERFUL site.

So needless to say I'm on this thing EVERY day for hours at a time (of course I still get up to make food for DS promise..) When DS is at school I lose track of time just sitting here reading posts..

I have even been on netflix watching all of the disney park docs.

SO READY FOR MY TRIP!!!!!

I am with you all

We are going in June (haven't told the kids yet) and my husband goes mad at me for being on here all the time. But I can't help it - I am just so excited and want to hear about everyone's plans and tips and ideas
