Some of the things I do...

Name resorts in alphabetical order
Name a restaurant for each letter of the alphabet
Name a character for each letter of the alphabet
Pick a "land" in the Magic Kingdom and name all the attractions
Name as many gift shops as I can

Of course, I do not do all of these each night, but its always one of these LOL.

Just wondering if anyone else does this, and is there anything new I can add.

I don't talk about it the same way as you, but I do talk about Disneyland and Vegas alot to my husband since those are the places that we are going to visit, and it's driving him nuts.

I do things like that when I exercise, I'm bored, or I can't fall asleep. Better than counting sheep. Have you ever counted the number of restrooms you've gone into at Disney? It's kind of amazing how quickly they add up.

Is Patrick good at this too?? :)

LOL Dan!! That is what I do to fall asleep!! He seems to have no trouble with that, considering that is where he has been for over an hour:rolleyes:

There's never a time I don't think of Disney. When I'm in the shower, I daydream that I'm in the shower at a resort and we're deciding which park to go to that day:rolleyes: Pathetic, aren't I?!

Count me in on this one. I sometimes think about restaurants, shops, etc. sometimes I'll try to go around the park in order and name all the places I can think of (restaurants, shops, attractions) - strange I know. But mostly I just imagine myself there again. Think about the things we have planned for our next trip, places we'll eat, etc. I even think about what I'm gonna wear. I would be shocked if an hour goes by when I don't think about WDW in some shape or form. Great thread! :teeth:

For the past couple of months I have been laying in bed thinking about what parks and the such we are going to do on our upcoming trip. I usually get to day two and fall asleep. ::yes::

I do....I usually visualize myself at the MK or Disneyland, and walk myself through the park....it's a pleasant way to try and fall asleep....:D

I guess this is why we are doing so well on our Cyber trip;)

Yes I sure do. I often think about past trips, and if I get really lucky I will also dream about being there too. :smooth:

This is my first day to this site but I love it. I think I have found my way of dealing with "Disney Withdrawl". I do think of Disney every day. I'm in college so when prof. start to get boring, I just drift away to walking down mainstreet and seeing the castle for the first time or meeting the cast members from around the world at Epcot.

I think of WDW all the time, not just when I'm trying to fall asleep. Unfortunately, the thoughts have to remain dreams because my stepdad says once you've done disney once or twice you don't really need to go again:earseek:, so WDW is not in the near future for us. Needless to say that's one topic he and I do not agree on.

Disney is in most of my waking moments and in that space right before sleep when you're wam, comfy, and happy. When DS can't go to sleep, I always tell him to think of WDW and his favorite things to do there. He falls asleep with a smile on his face every time!!!!

OMG! I thought I was the only one who did that! :rotfl:

As far as thinking of WDW at night, NO. It would get me too hyper. Howerever the rest of the day it is constantly crossing my mind.

What's really bad is when I'm planning a trip and I start to have Disney World Flashes. Like all of a sudden I'll be concentrating on something totally non Disney and *Poof* I'll get a vision of walking to EPCOT from the bus drop off area. Don't know why but that's my favorite *POOF* :teeth:

When I was a little girl and I'd have a nightmare, the first words out of my mother's mouth were always, "think nice thoughts of Disney World." So til this day, at age 20 :o if I ever have a bad dream, I think of Disney, ahaha

I do! I usually start on Main Street, looking at the Castle, and go from there. Sometimes I'm country hopping in the World Showcase. It's a great way to fall asleep. :)

I was sedated in hospital two weeks ago for an arm/nerve block and the last thing one of the nurses said to me as the sedation was being administered, as I was nervous, was think of a nice holiday. When I came round they told me I had been talking about WDW to them :D :D !!! Back in again Monday for the same procedure so wonder what I will talk about this time?!
Claire ;)
