We aren't going to the water parks, but do plan on spending some time in the resort pool while we're there. Do you take your own beach towels or use the little hotel towels they supply?
What ever Disney provides for free and we don't have to haul or rent, we're in. Ample towels at the deluxes we stay at, clean and dry and quite large. Anything taken back to the room, never dries anyway, dries faster in the bathroom then on a balcony chair, hence why we take 2 bathing suits, one doesn't dry in a day and nothing worse for me than putting on a wet or damp bathing suit.
I brought beach towels with me on our first trip. I haven't bothered since. The pool towels are fine. We don't do the water parks so I don't know if they have decent towels or not.
That's what we do too. The first time we took our own and they took up to much room. With the way airlines are getting now adays you need all the room you can get in your luggage.
Our last trip was the first time we did'nt bring beach towels, and it worked out fine. Sometimes we take a day trip to the ocean and I bring our towels if we do. The hotel towels are smaller than beach towels, so on past trips we used our beach towels when we went swimming in the pool at night on trips when it was a bit cooler at night, the walk back to the room seems pretty long when you come out of the warm water and wrap a little towel around you. But in the warmer season I would'nt bring towels unless we were heading to the coast. We have brought beach towels to the water parks and had one stolen so we won't be doing that again. I don't know if the towels they have at the park are free or if there is a charge. Beach towels do take up a lot of room in your beach bag and take a while to dry, so if you do bring them use the thinner ones. Linda
