Do you style your hair & wear make-up while on your WDW vacation?

How much time do you spend getting ready in the morning? Do you try to look your best, just presentable or don't care as it's vacation time? The make-up question post here has me curious. Thanks!

i personally am a little laid back when i do my hair and make up while on vacation, i will but on a little make up and lipgloss and maybe put my hair in a ponytail or do something that doesnt take much time, i dont like wasting my vaction doing my hair and make up ;)

I barely wear make-up at home and I'm going to wear it in the Fla heat and humidity, running around a theme park. so no I don't style my hair other than brushing it and leave with it wet most days, and no eye make-up or lipstick and only a little cover-up if needed somewhere and possibly some blush. Entire time other than shower 5 minutes.

I think I saw the thread you are talking about and I was amazed.

I do my usual makeup, but I'm a "5 minute" gal, anyway. Just mineral foundation brushed on, a little blush, mascara, and lipstick.

As for my hair, I try to get it cut about a week before each trip. I do the normal style and hairspray, and it holds up pretty well. On our trip this January, however, I hadn't gotten it cut in a while, so I just figured, the heck with it- I wore it pulled back every day. I looked pretty awful, but it was easy to take care of!!

I usually do the same thing I do at home. I always like to look good. And when I look good, I feel good. I do try to speed up my routine a few minutes.

My hair is kind of long and can be unruly if I don't blow dry it (flat on top, wavy and unmanageable on the bottom :scared1:) so no matter where I am I do my hair. As far as makeup, I used to be someone who wouldn't go out without being fully made up (well I guess you figured that when you see where I am from ;) ) but since my kids have been born I only use a little foundation and blush, one coat of mascara and a little lip gloss. I do the same on vacation.

I just wore my hair in a ponytail and did my makeup. I don't do it real fancy to begin with ,but if I don't wear it I look horrible. Some days I did where my hair down too, or with a barret. I have just shoulder length hair ,so it isn't too long to get in the way. I'm there for fun though, and not to win a beauty prize, but i don't want to scare people either! :scared1:

Go with the mineral foundation, blush, a little color on the eyelids and mascara. I always forget to put the lipstick on or if I do forget to reapply it. I'll be ready before my dilly-dallyer boys(that includes DH).

Jergan's has lotion with glow for your face now... It works great to give you a little color- nothing else except lip gloss/screen.
Short hair for me for WDW. I have long hair and go to WDW about once every 5 years. I hack off my hair to something short and fun, wash it, towel dry it and go! DH cries when I cut off the hair- but who cares, it grows back right!;)

When we go out to dinner in the evening, yes. When we get up early to schlepp around the park, no. I put my hair in a ponytail and wear a golf visor and sunglasses. I do have to add though, two years ago I made it to the hotseat in Who Wants to be A Millionaire and I have to say I was MORTIFIED that I looked the way I did.:scared1: That was probably the only time I regretted not wearing any makeup.

Running a brush through my hair is about as fancy as I get -- but that's it at home too. I always watch my stylist when I get my hair cut -- but I can never do it myself.

As for make up I wear it at WDW like I do at home. Moisterizer, eyeshadow, perhaps a bit of eye pencil, a little blush and that's it. I carry lip stuff with me all day though -- usually chapstick or one with a little color/flavor.

I try to look presentable - I run a brush through my hair, maybe pull it back if I feel like it - a little bit of lipstick with SPF in it and I'm pretty much ready to go. Why go to beauty extremes if I'm just going to be outside all day? :confused3

I don't usually do my hair like I do at home, but I do try to do something a little faster with it.
I do put on my usual makeup -- I won't leave the house without it!

Little bit of makeup with sunscreen and hair up in a clip. The humidity does not agree with my hair (it looks like a frizz bomb), so it's up the entire trip.

Lately when we go to WDW or other theme parks, I style my hair as usual, throw on some lip stick and that is it! I need more make-up to look presentable in pictures ;)....but..somehow I only end up in about 2 of them anyway.

I do what I do on the weekend at home - not much of anything!! Wash & wear hairstyle is what I need with two little kids, so it's LOW maintenance. Moisturizer w/sunscreen, concealer (can you say DARK circles!?!) and eye liner just to look awake, and some sort of lip stuff w/spf - that's it. I'm just not a big make up kinda' girl, especially while walking around in the sun all day. Can't see taking the time, but that's me! :confused3

I have to blowdry my hair every morning as it is naturally wavy and looks terrible if I don't. Other then that I use a small amount of lipstick and blush. Same as I do at home. I would love to be able to just put my hair in a ponytail but I can't grow it out that long with such a wavy mess!

I have always gotten haircuts that will allow me to wash, gel and go without blowdrying or curling. I hate primping!

I usually wear foundation and a little color on my lips. That is IT! And normally I put that on in the car on my way to wherever!

I live in an area where people seem to spend an hour in front of the mirror just to go to the grocery store!

I am a CA girl and just can't do it! As natural as possible when it comes to hair and make-up is my rule!

That's me. Especially in the summer, I would rather shower in the evening after getting sweaty during the day. I try to look nice for *something* so that we can get a good family picture, but generally that will not be a day we're getting up early for the parks.

I wear a tinted moisturizer with SPF, put on some eyeliner, and pull my hair back in a ponytail. :)

I gauge how much I do depending on the weather. If it's really humid, I don't bother doing much (cuz I know it's pointless) but if it's just hot, but not humid,
I blow dry, put a few curls in my stick straight hair and then a ponytail because my hair is very thick and it's too hot to wear it down. Then a little makeup, foundation, mascara and a touch of eyeliner. Less than I do at home, but enough to make me look at least 1/2 way decent in pics.
