Do you still need a park reservation to dine if you have park hopper?

If I booked a park reservation for MK but have park hopper, can I still eat at Epcot at night without having a park reservation for Epcot that day?

Only if you tapped in at MK before AND Epcot has not reached park capacity when you want to hop.

You do not need a reservation for a park that you hop to later in the day. You do have to have tapped into the park you had reserved for the day.

You won't have to worry about a park being at capacity, especially Epcot. Since reopening, that has only happened once for a short time span in the afternoon at MK on October 1 of last year for the 50th celebration.

Just to be clear, in case anyone is curious
You can't even book 2 park reservations in 1 day
It's not only that you don't need the 2nd reservation, you can't even make one if you tried (ie, you wanted to have it just to be safe)
