Do you sterlize your toothbrush?

I guess you avoid tap water, swimming pools, hot tubs, restaurants etc

I know that bleach is in the things you listed above.

I'm talking bleach as in the kind you buy from the store, clorox beach, I'm just terrified of using it in fear that I'll ruin something.

Yet alone putting my toothbrush in it, I know you added several parts water to it.

That is just my personal fear. I was a not bashing you in any way, it just freaks me out.

The bleach. I'm afraid of bleach.

Me too! I use a Brita filter for all our cooking water and we buy bottled drinking water. The dioxins are a scary deal. I bought one of those tiny bottles of Chlorox when my son was born. He's 11. I still have it. I should have said that our toothbrushes are Sonicare so the heads are expensive and that's why I hate buying them. Sometimes, they are hard to find. I just bought two regular toothbrushes for everyone in the family and I hope we can keep those for a while. I googled sterilizing toothbrushes. The article specifically said NOT to put them through the dishwasher as it "damages" them. I can not imagine why you couldn't put them on an upper shelf in a container or a mesh bag. I might try that with a regular toothbrush so I'm not throwing away $10 if it's destroyed.
