Do you stay at your home resort or Hop

Both.

I stay at my home resort (SSR) most of the time, but have also stayed at a few others. It really depends on what I'm doing. A few years ago when my twins were only two I stayed at VWL because of it's close proximity to MK. I've stayed at OKW when bringing extended family because it takes less points.

In fact, my family was SUPPOSED to be hopping with Denise's family from BCV to AKV this summer, until she decided to try Vero instead of AKV.

Our home resort is SSR, but we've only stayed there twice.

OK, I don't even KNOW Denise, but I think historically speaking, she has enough time left between now and July that she will change her mind at least a couple more times about where to stay!!

We've only stayed at our home resorts. Of course, we have 3 of them.

That's not to say that we won't try any others in the future. But we love our homes so much that I havne't tried to stay elsewhere yet.

With the Feb trip to Vero, we will have stayed at all the current DVC resorts Although we have both SSR and AKV as home resorts, we have stayed most often at BWV (It's those F & W long weekends!).

I did change it I did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went back to my original plan of BCV and AKV. I decided to put off Vero again....and try it when we can use our points. We would have to pay 3 nights in cash for Vero. I have a feeling the wait list will never come up for July.

Our Home resorts are AKV and SSR. We have stayed at all WDW DVC resorts except VWL. While we enjoyed them all. We really prefer SSR. In fact we are in the process of selling our AKV points since we just bought at VGC. Our love if SSR is due to the laid back relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the parks.

This trip we are staying 5 nights at AKV and 3 nights at SSR. I couldn't extend my AKV stay and I wanted to be confirmed since we are leaving in 40 days!

I have fallen in love with DVC as a whole. I can't imagine how much we would have missed had we not tried the other resorts. Instead of bonding with one, we're bonding with them all! Considering I'm feeling the need to add on, that makes things very difficult! New home???

We love BWV BUT have no problem hopping! My last 5 day vacation, since I made it within 3 weeks of going, we hopped to 3 different villas! We were just happy to be there on such short notice and hopping was easy. I do prefer to stay at one place BUT hopping was kind of fun this last time. Great to see the different villas.

I am sure you weren't really that SHOCKED were you???? I do want to go to Vero....but I would rather go when we can use points. I guess one day I will report back that WE DID ACTUALLY GO TO VERO. That is when everyone on here will actually believe me.

Hey and for a split second (well long enough for my dh to say "what are you calculating" when he saw me with the points book and the calculator) I even entertained the THV for those 3 nights and being one of those calling TOMORROW. Then I realized......that I would rather try them in the fall or winter.

We are fairly new owners. We will be staying at SSR for our first DVC trip on the 21st. Other than that DH has no plans of staying at a resort other than our home.

try now to book what we want at the 7 month window
so far we have been luckly

Favourite Resort so far is BCV
have stayed so far at SSR AKV BCV and WLV
hoping to get to stay at the BLT this August seeing it is opening early , but if no availably still have over 40 years to keep trying
