Do you shop on-line or stores for scrap book supplies?

Just wondering what everyone preference is on their scrapping needs.
Personally, I like to do both. My scrap book store here is about 45 minutes away and it is small compared to otheres I have seen or read about. But I like on-line store as well. Sometimes you can get a good deal on shipping.
Anyone one have a favorite scrap shop site??

I have not bought anything online yet, I am a shopper and love to browse so I will go to the LSS!! I have seen some stuff online that I like but just never got around to ordering as I don't really want to pay shipping and handling. I just saw this site with some very nice products, called memory makers, you can't buy direct from the site but it has a store locator. Worth a look!

I guess I shop more online than at local stores -- there aren't that many close to me, although a new one opened up about 20 min. away that I've been to twice and like quite a bit. As for online, I like www.TwoPeasinaBucket.com -- I used to like dmarie, but had an unbelievable amount of trouble with my last order, and will never order from them again.

May I ask what happened? I was just about to order something from there ... but I may rethink that purchase ...

I only order online, (unless I'm on vacation in Orlando!). There are no LSS's anywhere near me, but there are 2 excellent online stores in the UK, so I get everything from them.

I've looked at 2Peas a few times, but they never have what I want in stock

I'll be glad to tell you what happened. And I have to preface my comments by saying that I'd done several orders with them with no trouble whatsoever. So I don't know if they've gotten too big or what, but this is what happened:

I ordered -- and paid for -- the Fiskars Circle Scissor from them. Instead, they sent me the Fiskars Circle Cutter. Of course, they wouldn't send me the correct item until I returned the wrong one they'd sent. I mailed it back priority and two weeks went by (I'd been told the correct item was "already packed and ready to go" and would be shipped immediately after the Cutter was received). I heard nothing from them, so I started emailing.

After three emails, I finally received a response saying that the Circle Scissor was on its way. A week later, I received not the Circle Scissor, but the Circle Scissor pen blade! Wrong again! :(

I emailed them again, angry at this point over the repeated mess-ups, and the fact that I still hadn't been credited for the return shipping I paid. Donna Marie, the owner, emailed me back with excuses about how hard their employees work! Give me a break -- I've worked retail, too, and have no patience for people who get it wrong repeatedly. It's called *customer service*!! She told me that the credit was being put through for the shipping. I had to email again to get them to credit me for the item I'd never received!

A week later, the Circle Scissor price had been credited, but still no credit for the return shipping. I emailed *again* and was told, "Oops, they said they took care of that, guess they didn't." Finally, several days later the credit showed up.

So, that's the scoop. Maybe others would've had more patience with them than I did, but it was enough hassle to turn me off from ordering from them for good. :(

I used to buy my stuff at Michaels due to their good clearance prices but recently spent a ton of $$$$ buying stuff online. I also just found my LSS but it was small and way more expensive than buying stuff online (even with shipping)

So far I have had really good experiences with the following:
twopeasinabucket.com-although they do tend to be out of stock on a lot of things I want their email notification system works great!)
dmarie.com
punchcrazy.com (they are Canadian but have some of the best prices around)
paperaddict.com
and http://jackkyllscraps.zoovy.com/category/specialty_papers

I am a real bargain hunter and refuse to pay full price for anything :)

Hello

I do both. I am very fortunate to be an instructor at an awesome LSS so I get a discount. I have used twopeasinabucket quite a bit also. Some of the others I have used are:

www.gonescrappin.com
www.creativexpress.com
www.pebblesinmypocket.com
www.scrapramento.com

gonescrappin has awesome service. I usually receive my order in a couple of days. Once I ordered on Saturday and got it on Monday. I was shocked. I have a pretty lengthy list of places so if you are looking for something in particular just let me know!!

Happy Scrapping

I have order a lot of stuff from www.scrapperhaven.com the stuff comes quickly and I have been really pleased.
I like my LSS too but it is about 30 minutes away and I get so overwhelmed! I find it easier to not get overwhelmed when looking on line because I know I can go back and look and look! I like Michael's and ACMoore and actully found That ACMoore has a better selection than Michael's of course it is father away!
But right now I am not buying thing more HAHAHAHA!~

I always love online shopping because it's easier ~ and I seem to spend less, LOL. Sticker planet is a wonderful site for all kind of stickers and they have some pretty neat Disney stickers as well. There was one other site I bought from that was recommended here and I loved it, great service etc. BUT my computer crashed and I lost all of my bookmarked sites so I can't remember which one it was, but I did buy Disney stickers from them.

My LSS has an extensive inventory of paper, stickers, and die cuts, etc. and it is less then 15 minutes away. I prefer taking my pictures with me and matching things up. The cropping tables are open, at no charge, anytime the store is open and there is not a class being held. People tend to pop in at odd times and just hang out.

I have purchased some of the sparkle and shine things from www.magicscraps.com I go in through www.gracefulbee.com so that they will get the credit for it. My order arrived so soon after I ordered it, I hadn't even started looking for it.
