Do you set your coffee up at night to brew in the morning or ...

I gave up coffee, but when I was drinking it, I'd make it fresh every morning.

I think the water goes stale overnight, waiting to be turned into coffee.

I almost always make mine at night, that way I just have to hit my button when I'm bleary eyed! LOL!

I know it is better to grind just before you brew, but I set mine up the night before so I just need to push a button. One time I spent $100 on one of those grind and brew machines, but it had major problems and I returned it. Can anyone recommend a grind and brew pot?
