Do you rent a limo or van with 4 adults & 3 kids? (m)

Just curious what would work best size wise with all the lugguge. I was quite disappointed on our last trip when the towncar couldn't hold all our lugguge when it was only the 4 of us. My dh was holding the stroller on his lap to the ship. Even though I called and asked repeatly if a towncar would hold all of our stuff. Our youngest dd is older so, we probably will only bring the umbrella stroller this time. The traveling party will be two separate families so, I am wondering what would be the most comfortable a van or limo? How big are limo trunks? Oh, and when do you reserve the limo or van? Should I start calling now for our May cruise?

Since you'll have 7 people, that's a LOT of luggage. When we take a limo, there are just 4 of us, and usually the driver has to put some of the luggage up front in the seat next to him. I don't overpack either. We had 2 large suitcases, 2 medium suitcases, 2 small wheeled carry-ons, and my DSs each had a backpack. I think one of the large 10-12 passenger vans would be the best for the 7 of you. I hate to dissuade anyone from taking a limo though, they are a lot of fun. But, more $$$.

I agree with you about the towncar. We're just a party of 4 and we'd NEVER fit comfortably in a towncar, nevermind our luggage too.

When we went last fall we had 4 adults and 3 kids (1 in a carseat) and a jogging stroller along with 7 or 8 bags of luggage. We decided to go for a full size van and it was really nice and convenient! We are going 2 adults less this next trip so I think we will splurge and get a limo just because.
