Do You Remember Tony's

At MK when you could order Two Eggs Custom,Tony's Italian Toast.Lady and the Tramp Waffle,Breakfast Calzone and some other great menu items.It was served at your table and server brought you a basket of great sticky buns while your breakfast was prepared.The Menu was printed on front page of Main Street Gazette that you got to keep.That was the best breakfast they had in WDW in our opinion.It was a must do for us at least twice on our trips to WDW.Boy do we miss it,just wanted to know if anyone else remembered it.

This was a tradition for us. We always started our MK days with breakfast at Tony's. We've been back once for dinner, several years ago, but haven't been back since. I soooooo wish they would bring back the fab breakfast that they used to have. We have many fond memories of it.

On our first trip to WDW in 1983, we had breakfast at Tony's....back then, the "Garden Terrace" was not enclosed and as the characters appeared (back then they randomly appeared at the beginning of Main Street early in the morning) our kids could just run out and get their autographs...Breakfast at Tony's became our tradition....we miss it!!!

They had the best breakfast in any of the parks. We used to love having a late breakfast there. There cinnamon rolls were so good. Out of all the places that have changed at WDW this is the one we miss the most. It was great to be able to order of a menu in the parks.

1) The Mickey waffles.
2) The Mickey butter, that was a full-Mickey-figure and stood up on the plate.

Surfingstich: Tony's is at the MK.
Breakfast at Tonys was always a tradition for us too. Was nothing better than sitting in Tony's, having a nice, relaxing breakfast. As I recall, the reason why they closed was that they claimed there were "too many" other spots to get breakfast at the MK.
Nice to dream, but I seriously doubt they'll ever open again...

We loved to eat breakfast there, too. My favorite was the strawberries and cream, yummmm!! I wish they would bring it back, too.

We are planning a grand gathering next year(17 of us) and one of the offerings we are planning is the Good Morning character breakfast at Tony's. It is only available to groups of 10 or more. I'm not sure what the menu is, we planned it for the character interaction with the kids.

My DH and I absolutely loved the Tony's breakfast. We've said many times how much we missed the basket of cinnamon rolls and the small pitcher of fresh squeezed oj. We loved it! We went to Disney in October - the first trip in 8 years & we really wished it was open for breakfast. Delicious memories.
