Do you really need a ressie for a carriage ride?

I have been contemplating whether or not to book a carriage ride at FW after our early dinner at Artist Point... It's something we've never done before, and I think it would be fun in late November, especially if people are starting to decorate their camp sites for the holidays.

My question is this: do we REALLY need an advance reservation to do this? Or is it fairly easy to just walk up and get a ride if we choose to? I don't mind making a ressie, but at the same time, i hate that the more reservations I make, the less flexibility we have in our vacation. Sigh. The eternal Disney dilemma!

If the ride is important to you, make the reservation.

We are doing the Hoop De Doo show on Xmas day and I called and booked the holiday sleigh ride for 6.30pm.
I had to pay and she gave me a reservation number

Bit of warning though: If you use the word "ressie" anywhere on Disney property they are 100% allowed to ban you forever.
