Do you prefer EMM or DAH?

Trying to decide which one to do on our next trip. We're thinking about either EMM at HS or DAH at AK. My kids are at an age where they are fine staying up extra late, but are also easy to get up and out extra early. Thoughts?

Well, EMM at HS vs DAH at AK is sort of apples and oranges to some extent. For us, it would 100% depend on my family's park/ride preferences.

Mine are 4 & 8 and we're into DHS EMM right now and it's a better fit overall. Not sure we'd get as much out of AK DAH at our ages.

Now, if this were HS EMM vs MK DAH, MK DAH wins hands down. Of course, every family will be different based on ages, park/ride favorites, etc.

As previous posters said, it really depends on what your family enjoys, and your strategy for the rest of the trip. If your main “goals” in DHS are TSL, you could go to DHS for EMM and save your FPs that day for a different park (provided you’re park hopping). There will be more rides open for DAH at AK, and everything except FOP is likely to be a walk-on.

I haven’t been to either, but will be doing EMM at TSL in April. Most of what I enjoyed at DHS was TSL, and I don’t want to allocate a lot of time to that park. However, I did DAH at MK in August and LOVED it, and if DAH were offered at any park during my trip I would be doing that instead.

I think it really depends on the rest of the trip, how many days you want in each park, etc. Either way you’ll have a great time

What’s the favorite ride right now? Toy Story land or thrill rides?

Personally, I rather have 3 hours of rides than 1 hour (with a breakfast that I’m not wasting paid park time to eat).
