Do you order and ship diapers and formula when traveling with an infant?

We are traveling with our 8 month old grandson. What is the best way to bring diapers and formula? Do you suggest shipping them? Order from Amazon for delivery to the resort? Any other suggestions or tips from those who have done this? Its been a long time since I traveled with littles. Thank you

You can pack them in a suitcase and then just nest your suitcases on the way home, can get a lyft/uber to pick some up, or get them delivered from one of the various grocery delivery places.

We just packed a bunch in a spare suitcase as Southwest 2 Bag fly free and then on the way home packed so that we just nested the suitcase to make 2 become 1.

I assume you are flying. If driving, of course you would bring them.

We put them in the suitcases and travel with them. On Southwest, as mentioned, you have plenty of bags to bring them.

Also, if you are bringing a car seat, you can put them in the car seat bag, and every airline will check a car seat for free.

Finally, by the end of the trip you'll have all the extra space in the suitcases freed up for any purchases!

Don't forget to bring some with you while flying as well

DD orders diapers and other child-necessary food, shampoo, sunscreen, etc. As well as some non-perishable groceries from Target for pickup at nearest store. Of course, this requires a rental car on arrival.

We never rent a car and always use Disney transport. We never leave the Disney bubble once we arrive. Lol.

When we have traveled with ours, we just pack it in the luggage. We always need the extra space for stuff we're bringing back anyways so it works out great.

I would always bring formula. It's not that big, and you don't want to have to change brands.

I have done both on diapers, depending on how long the trip is. When packing space is tight, I have also brought some diapers that will maybe last and then bought a pack when its clear it will run out. If you aren't using any delivery service and don't have a car, this will still be easy at Disney. It's not like it's that hard to buy a pack if you underestimated.

We usually stay a week or longer, and the diapers are BULKY! We once did a DVC - DCL cruise - DVC trip that was 2 weeks and needless to say we didn't want to take a ton of stuff with us on the cruise! We ordered Amazon prime - diapers, sunscreen in large size containers, etc. to be delivered to our first DVC resort. I think we needed a few more diapers after the cruise, so we just bought a few more after. But it was handy to have large size sunscreen without having to check a bag on our flight since the cruise cabin was so small - we only brought 3-4 days of clothes and did laundry.

Also I would bring extra extra. Delays, rerouted, stuck on runway, bags lost, are all things that do happen. We carried basically 2 days worth on the plane with us just to be "safe" even though I would never expect to need it.
