That one is tough to answer. We go to the late service on Christmas Eve. When we get home it is Christmas morning and Santa has been by the house. We open our gifts around 1:00 in the morning, by the time we pose for pictures, etc. The benefit is that we get to sleep in a little longer the next day.
Since we haven't been to bed it feels like Christmas Eve, but it is really Christmas Day.
Yep, I have to agree!
We are going over to brother & sil for C.Eve (my side). On C.Day (Santa comes) we sit home play with our gifts while we have lots of snacks, appetizers followed by a Turkey dinner with all the trimmings. I usually cook a rib roast but not this year.
We have always opened gifts on Christmas Eve and had Santa Christmas morning. This will be the first year in all of my 55 that we will NOT be doing gifts on Christmas Eve. DS and his SO can't come until Christmas Day, so we are waiting.
