Do you obsess with your ADRs even once they are set?

I made our ADRs over 3 months ago and I swear I'm continually looking for aways to improve them. I look at our schedule multiple times a day and I'm always on this board or on WDW on-line ADR reservation trying to tweak them just a little bit. And we already have a great schedule!

I'm not sure I can leave well enough alone!!

Exactly this!! I was fiddling with the schedule daily and changing my mind a lot. Now my DS & DIL are coming on the trip, I have a real reason to adjust. I'm so happy they're coming!

Always. Yesterday was our 180 day mark and I made 7 of our 8 reservations and I'm already overthinking it. That's the problem when you want to go to 20 places and can only pick 8!

We will be pulling in at WDW 2 weeks from today and I am STILL messing with the ADRs at the end of our trip. Why? Because I can and they don't seem "perfect" yet. I know, I'm dreaming... Just want the best times possible.

While the OP is certainly not alone, I don't do this so much. I'll go back every now and then and tweak, but the majority of them stay the same as when I made them. Normally these tweaks are if something new comes along (e.g. Untamed Lunch at Sanaa had me tweaking my Sanaa lunch plans for that day), or more information comes out (e.g. I swapped my 8pm Hacienda to 7pm due to the chance that Illuminations view would not be as good as expected).

Of course, the bulk of my trip is solo, and I already know the times and locations I want ahead of time (when I do obsess over them ) so that makes it a bit easier. I can please everyone in my party at the same time!

I've been doing this almost everyday since I made my ADRs @ 180 days ahead. I believe it's my obsession.

YES!!! I've been doing the same thing every day since I've been able to book. I thought I was the only nutty one doing this, lol. Even if I change the reservation by 10 minutes, I've been making changes. It's so silly, but I guess I'm just really looking forward to this trip!

In past trips we have tweeked our ADR's up until the day before we leave. This time around we have some special things planned for dinner that once we made our ADR's I left them alone ... until last night. I ended up changing basically the only ADR that we have that was changable. We still have another 119 days (who's counting?) so I may end up changing something else, but at this moment I am pretty happy.

Especially when you try to fit in your counter service meals... I think I want my dining to be later now that is only going to be the two of us. I'm also thinking about which ones I want to pay out of pocket vs. Disney Dining plan....

I made my 180-day ADR's a few days ago.

My trolling this site indicates that I'm still thinking about Disney.

But I do not second guess my ADR's once they've been made -- since I generally get everything we want (+/- 30 minutes).

Now I am thinking about increasing our typical stay from 5-nites to 9-nites. I hope and pray that this will offer my family an opportunity to think outside their favorite restaurants and finally try a few other places. For instance, Narcoossee's has become my step-mother's favorite, but at the expense of never being able to eat at Citrico. My wife loves sitting in Coral Reef, so she has little desire to try Chefs de France.

So in the end, I obsess about Disney all too often....but I never second guess my ADR's once they've been made.....

Count me in, I'm now at 90 days to go and I think I've made more changes than bookings

When the new Fantasmic schedule came out though for September I wanted to change some around and there wasn't much left to choose from! I'm thinking it's all pretty much set now unless I get lucky with someone cancelling.

Well I just changed so many things around for our nov/dec trip. But that was mostly because of Coral Reef and Rose and Crown finally opening up today.

The only other thing I will change is when we book the cp package. I will change my original reservation on either 1 or 2 days depending on when we get the package date or our alternate date.

We also go in May and I usually never change those adrs once I make them. Its alot easier than dec. adrs and having to deal with cp package stuff.

Not sure if I am the exception here, but I rarely change anything. It may be that our trip is not centred around dining - at least not to the degree that it is for some. The changes I have made in the past have usually been to call and cancel because we found something else we would rather be doing.

For the first week or so after making my ADR's, I think I am guilty of this - constantly checking back and trying to find a better time etc. But once that period has passed, I pretty much leave my reservations alone - only if there is a major change in hours or EMH's will I revisit them.

Right now I suppose I am still looking for a Whispering Canyon evening reservation in late September, but I'm no longer massively bothered if I don't find one. At the time of making my ADR's, I was checking every day to see if I could get in, whereas now I'm just checking once every couple of weeks on the off chance someone has cancelled.

I know we're not changing our restaurants, but I keep altering the times. Some places don't have much better available times, like 5-15 mins off. But I snagged a 6:40 Ohana today, now I'm holding that with our original 7:50 trying to figure out if it's worth it to rush from our hotel to the Poly, but have a better chance of watching the MVMCP fireworks from the beach....Will probably cancel 7:50 later today.
