How long have you lived there? Does it feel like home to you?

We've been in ours for 21 years and we love it more now than the day we moved in. I couldn't think of selling it and living some place else without coming home to this home.

I like my house but would shed no tears if we moved. I've only lived in it for 2 years.

My house is okay. The neighborhood is close to shopping and work. DH and I are hoping to start remodeling sometime next year. Once we do that, I know that I really love my house. Forgot to include that we have lived here for 12 years.

No, I don't love my house. But I am happy that we are no longer renting. We have lived here 3 years now. We originally planned to stay here 10 years or so. We will see.

We have been in this house for almost 3 years. It did belong to my in-laws and first moved in back in 1985. It needs some updating, but has great potential. Well, the kitchen is too small and the garage, well, unless you can do a complete 180 in a tight space...the garage is pretty much useless...it's located in a weird spot behind the house. It's plenty big enough...4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1800 sq. ft.

But you know what I love most?....it's almost paid for! Just about 4 more years!

yes I love my house :) ( and will even more once the laminate is installed :) )
It's a LOT of work ( it was a repo when we bought it) weve been here 2 years and weve done so much to it that I really love it. The next house will be bigger though perhaps with a basement!

Love it! We bought this house brand new 5 1/2 years ago. We werent seriously looking at the time as I had just lost my job and didnt think moving up was a possibility at that time. However I happened to come across this house and we both fell in love with it. It was everything we had been dreaming of. So we did what we had to and things worked out for us. Im so glad we got it.

Yes, I love my house. We moved here 5 years ago and it was brand spanking new when we got it! We never imagined having our own single family home so we feel very blessed. Great neighbors, great schools, 3 mile commute for my husband. We plan to stay for awhile!

:sunny:

Love my house, but not the neighborhood! I've been here for 26 years. It is a large, older home in the inner city. It has been completely redone inside and out. But I have a plan!:D I am going to stay put because the property taxes are low and I have no mortgage which will leave me to do what I want to do when I retire, and that is travel!!!:D

TC:cool:

NO! We're in a townhouse and have always hated it. The house itself is okay, but can't stand the neighbors - always in everyone else's business. House is sold and we're moving in November (knock on wood that everything goes according to plans!).

I love my house, and we have lived here for 5+ years! Unfortunately DH just got a transfer, so our house is currently on the market. :( :(

DH and I have joked about just transplanting our existing house (with all our stuff in it!) to our new location. Hopefully we will find a nice place at the new location.

We've lived in this particular apartment for about 3 years. I love it. We have a possible chance to move to a larger one soon, but I don't know. I kind of don't want to move again until we really move, get an actual house or condo. But even then, it will be hard / weird to leave here.

I guess I am rather attached to it. It's a multi family home in a nice, quiet suburban neighborhood with a big fenced in yard. We're on the top floor and we have some nice views, we're good friends with the downstairs neighbor and the landlord, we can pretty much do whatever we want...no real rules about decorating, pets etc.

We consider it home.

We've lived her for 6 years now, and while I like it, there certainly things I would like to change/add to it. But, I really love my neighborhood.. we have great neighbors! The price of homes in our area keep going up and it's literally insane now. So, if we ever moved, it would have to be out of the area.

For being only 13, we've moved 4 times. This particular house, we've lived in for 4 years. I don't love the house, but I do love the town/location. Right by the water, my friends, as close as you can be to the closest mall and live in a nice place...It's just the house itself.

I LOVED our previous house. the bedrooms were a tad small, but still fine. we only lived in there for 10 months when dh got transfered to our current home. I don't love this home, although slowly but surly we are making it ours. it needed, and still needs, a lot of work. we've done a couple of rooms now that are helping with the overall feel.

Yes, I love my house. DH and I have 16 years worth of blood, sweat and a few tears invested, not to mention a ton of money. It's a Victorian that we completely restored ourselves and we're very happy with the outcome. It's not just a house, it's our home. Now, loving Florida is another thing! :teeth:

Love my house - No, not at all. We bought it new 9 years ago.We bought a split foyer and I said from the begining I didnt want a split foyer. We bought it for the price, and the area. I love the area I live in but not my home.

However, we just bought land in Fl and will be building. I will love that home!! The floorplan is perfect.

We've lived here almost two months, and YES!!! I LOVE MY HOUSE!!!! IT"S PERFECT!!! The neighborhood, the schools, the area, and we even found our perfect church. Life is so good!!! I'm happy every time I come home!

We just got our house in June. I love, Love, LOVE it! Every day I just think how lucky I am to have it.

This is the first house I've ever had that I've felt this way about. It was in perfect condition when we purchased it and the only thing I've had to do is repaint some rooms to colors that I like.

I do love my house. We've been here 6+ years now. We have 3 1/2 acres in the woods and my stepbrother built it, so we were able to design the inside ourselves. It's small, an antique reproduction of the 1677 Harlow House in our town. We have 3 fireplaces and all wide pine floors except in the kitchen, which has a stone tile floor.

The only reasons I would move would be (1) a house on the ocean (not likely, $$$$), an old farmhouse on lots of land in a smaller town nearby (but I would REALLY have to love the house and be able to fix it up), or an affordable house in a nearby town that has a good school system. We're currently paying for private school because our school system is terrible.
