Do you like the New Knight Rider or the 1980's Knight Rider?

Over the last few weeks I have been checking out the new Knight Rider on NBC. I have to say I had mixed reviews on the show at first. I am used to seeing David Hasselhoff as Michel Knight, And A Trans Am name KITT. But This new version was way better. The new KITT is a Ford Mustang Shelby GT that can changed into a Ford Extended Cab pickup truck. The Voice of Kitt is played by Val Killmer. I have to say that Val's voice is very Low and hard to hear unless you turned the TV up to full Volume. The Special Effects are good, Including the Heads Up display with Touch screen on Kitt's windshield. I admit I love the 80's version with Kitt as a Trans Am , But the new Kitt as a Mustang is as good as the old Kitt ,but with way better Gadgets. Im sure many of you may or may not agree with me about the new Knight Rider . But I still Love it as well as the Old one. So What do you think of the New Knight Rider.

I liked the first ep. Havent seen the others. but i also never saw the original.

And i could hear the car fine, at normal volume

I'm a purist - I liked the first one (the 80's). I watched the pilot of the newer version and just didn't like it - and thought that the Hoff's cameo in the new show was cheese. Not a fan.

I watched it today at work on my iTouch. I really like the new KITT but I don't see this being a show that I'll go out of my way to watch. I loved the original one and wanted a Trans Am for my first car but had to settle for my Barbie having a KITT. The dialogue seemed just as cheesey as the original but that car is a beauty! So I'd say I'm still on the fence about the new Knight Rider.

I watched the first episode and the first scene with the new Michael was him waking up with two girls in his bed. After that I was like "Forget it!! This is stupid!!" and I didn't give the rest of it a chance. Did it get any better?

I like the new one alot. I started recording the old ones again and they are so cheesy.

I agree though I don't think the new one will have staying power. They have used too many special effects in the first 2 episodes.

I was upset at first that the new kitt was a Mustang, but what were they supposed to do since GM abandoned the Trans AM?

The show is okay. It is not bad, but I do like the car. It seems that NBC is going back to old shows like Bionic Woman and Battlestar Galactica (the best being Battlestar Galactica). I don't see this show lasting longer than a season or two.

I agree but im sure as the first season goes on we will see many episodes get better as far as the plot improves. But it's to early to tell
