Hi...again! lol,
Just picked out the CUTEST..Cinderella Dress for DD to wear to our PS at our Princess Breakfast...Do you let your dd where her gown all day? I will bring an extra set of clothes..and we are going to buy a pair of plain white sneakers and "fancy" them up with jewels and such so the shoes won't be an issue. But I worried a bit about her getting on and off rides with the dress on. I can see it now though...she will get that Dress on in the am..and not want to take it off. Also, we are going in Early December, so I don't think she will be too warm..and we will bring a sweater if she gets too cold. We are from NY, so we are used to the 50 degree's being nice.

Any advice..do you let your dd wear her dress all day??

Thanks a bunch..

My daughter wore her Princess dresses the entire time we were in DL. A different one each day. She just wore her normal Disney princess runners with the dresses and a t shirt and pair of shorts underneath.

We didn't have any problems with rides and all the CM's referred to her as Princess.... "good morning Princess", etc. Even the Characters reacted to it, many made her spin, some bowed, etc.

I did not have official Disney dresses though, these are very lightweight and easy to move around in. I guess it depends what they are made of. I know that if my daughter had worn her Disney Belle Ballet costume it would have been itchy to sit in, etc.

Just remembering also, we made her tuck her skirt in when she hopped into the stroller so it would not catch anywhere.

We brought extra clothes too but both my daughters chose to wear thier dresses all day. I think the eldest finally changed in the evening, but it was because her dress got dirty and that upset her to be in it.

Neither of my DD's has ever worn a dress at Disney...but I would think that it might be a little hard getting on and off of somes rides.

yes,...lol , actually if i wouldn't get a bazzillion looks, i would get right in on the action and dress up too..and i am not making her wear it all day, i was just asking..if she wanted to wear it all day..would it post any problems on and off rides...??
Thanks for the insight though. :)

My DD7 has done both...kept it on and changed. Just let her decide. Sometimes DD wheres it for awhile, gets hot or uncomfortable and we stop and change. She never had any trouble getting on or off the rides.

The tennis shoes are a cute idea, DD has always wore her ballet slippers. Looks cute with the dress, and are comfortable.

HAVE A GREAT TIME!

My DD wore her's the entire morning we were at MK...but this past weekend I "made" her change....if it were up to her she would be in a princess or party dress everyday of the week, which I don't mind aside from it getting ruined at school!

Last year DD wore her Jasmine costume to PSB @ EPCOT. She wore the costume for a few hours afterward. She got tons of attention from the CMs, they were all calling her "Princess". The Cm at the Mexico pavillion took us through a "special door for the Princess" to take us right up to the little boat ride. She felt very special. She wore it until she got too hot.

Also, we did the Halloween party last year and she wore her Belle gown. She had no problems getting on & off the rides. I think your DD will enjoy the attention of being called "Princess" if she truly thinks she is a Princess like my DD princess: .

I haven't been to WDW yet, but I go to Disneyland with my daughter princess: all the time, and she wears her princess dress all day long with no problems. If it's cold we usually put tights and a long sleeve shirt on underneath. She and her cousins are planning to wear their dresses all day at WDW. They can't wait.
