Yes, they still do the photopass.

If you know you're going to do it, you should think about pre-purchasing the CD of photos. When you buy prints it is SO expensive per print, and you don't get the rights to copy them for anyone else who might want them. But if you buy the CD, you get the right to make as many prints as you want, from whatever printing service you want (or just print from your computer).

If you want the CD and you buy it through the normal photopass site, it's about $125. But if you prepurchase through this site, http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx , it's 99.95.


I wanted to let you know that the font color you used is almost invisible on my screen (and I haven't done anything strange to my screen, it is just the default settings).

I have to say, that I did prepurchase the CD, but I think I'm just going to call and ask for a refund. I thought we would do so many more pictures than we did since we were there for 5 days, but honestly, it's still cheaper for me to order the few copies that I want. I think since it was rainy a lot of the time that we were there they just didn't have as many photogs out in the rain. I think I got about 8 shots, I was rather disappointed.

Not to say I wouldn't prepurchase and try again for another trip, it just really didn't turn out to be worth it for this trip.

Were they at least good shots? Could you edit them, add borders, throw signatures on them (if any were with characteres), and maybe make "more"? Would anyone else in your family like copies?

The answers to those could help you really figure out if buying 12.95 5x7 prints is really a better idea than sticking with the pre-paid license to make prints forever more.

But if your'e like me and 8 pictures = 2 GOOD pictures, then I can see where two prints is a better deal for you.

Yea, that's pretty much where I'm at because I can't edit the picture to put tink in dd8's hand or figure out what we are supposed to be holding up when she had us all put our hands up in DCA at the Golden Gate Bridge pic. So, that leaves us 2 or 3 shots that I'd like to have prints of.

If you like the picture, write them immediately to get tink put into her hand. That's not a border, it's supposed to be done in the camera. Log in, find the contact us area, and send an email through their forms. Put in your photopass account's email address, describe the picture, and tell them to put Tink in your girl's hand! You'll have to wait a few days, but they will be able to do it.

Same thing happened with Stitch popping out of the ground for us. Once I gave them as much info as they asked for (even though they had all the info IN my first email, just not spelled out for them) it was quick as a bunny.

I haven't heard of the holding something up picture. Are you just supposed to be holding up the bridge? Or were they having Stitch pop out of your hands? (ew, by the way)
