Do you know how many times today Ive thought of those cold frozen drinks?

Wow is it a tough day at work today. Our children's dept basically went from 2fulltimers and 4 part to 2fulltimers and 1 part. With the rainy day it has been unbearably busy, not a good time to be short staffed.
Sept will fly by with us being short staffed then we go in to 8wks of story times.
Ive been telling myself today (and patrons)

"think of those frozen drinks on the Magic in 13 wks!"

Hopefully I'll make it cos after Labor Day Im quitting drinking until I get on that ship - oh my not a good time to quit but remember

"Think of those frozen drinks on the Magic in 13 wks" and how calm, relaxing and peaceful everything will be

Okay so I may need to go to the adult pool/bar/activities - lol

We have longer to go than you do, so have one for me too. I agree, the day here in Mass. has been yucky. Can't believe that a little over a week ago we were dying in the heat, now we almost need to put the heat on. Actually I did this morning going to work!!!! We're from South Eastern Mass. where are you from?
