do you know anything about frostwire for music sharing?

my teen is intent to try it.... I have always made him use itunes cards because I tend to not trust internet downloads for this type of thing, and I worry too if its legal. Just wondered if anyone here is familiar...

Frostwire is a download manager for both P2P and Torrent downloads. Which allows the user access to digital material most likely in an illegal manner.

There is legal content distributed through these conduits, however most content is not, and I seriously doubt your teen would be interested on it. I know some post graduate programs that legally distribute digital content this way.

I strongly suggest you keep it within iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon or other legitimate digital store.
