Do you have to have park tickets to buy the Dining Plan

I know lately with Free Dining, park tix have to be purchased as well, but can you have DDP with your room even if no one is buying park tickets?

Yes, but you have to call or use a TA.

If you're paying for the dining plan, then you can get a room only PACKAGE and get the dining plan, but you have to call to do this and all package rules apply.

If you want free dining, you will have to get whatever the required tickets are for everyone in the room.

We go every July and we don't do the parks... we just stay at a resort and do all the other stuff .... we save the parks for December when it's not as hot or as crowded.... we get the dining plan all the time in July
