Do you have to have a package deal or LOS passes to get Disney Dollars ?s?

I was reading a post about the Disney Club card. We are staying at FW and are unable to get discounts with our Disney Club card because of peak season, how are you able to get Disney Dollars at check-in? Is this a perk of the Disney Club card? I'd of course, love o call about getting them if possible. Thanks in advance!!

I booked a resort magic package and the $50 Disney Dollars were included.

Anyone can get Disney Dollars. You can get them at your local Disney Store in advance!

When I originally booked our trip we had the resort magic package and was told we would get 50 D$ at checkin. I change the ressie to room only and the D$ went away - I was told that is given with packages only......
