Do you have to give credit card at check in?

My son & his friends are staying at SSR next month. Will they have to give a credit card at check in?

No, if they don't they won't be able to run an account, unless they give a cash 'depostit'.
Also they must be 18+ to check in, with a photo ID.

I called and asked DVC this same question about my daughter today. She is 20 and taking a few friends with her in a few weeks. I was told they don't have to put a credit card down, but they can't check in online and will have to ask to have charging privileges removed at the desk on arrival.
