Do you have to call the DLH directly to get quotes or can one do so on the website?

If so, I can't find a place to enter the AP code......??? I am confused by all the talk about the AP7 or AP8 or AP9 codes....where does one give that info? Which is usually better a PIN code or the AP rate?

I really am just looking for a quick quote for the DLH hotel and if I remember correctly, there is no quick way to do that besides calling the ressie phone # and that takes forever because you have to enter all your info before they will give you a quote....why is that?
Thanks for any insight. I feel totally clueless.

You can also get that rate by using the Disneyland Package Quote at the top of this page. The folks at Dreams Unlimited - who own and operate these boards - can help you get a good rate! It's also nice to help pay them back for giving us this great forum! ;)

When I've used the AP# rate I just call direct. But I don't really like using travel agents...I like having control of my reservations. Sorry YMP! :flower3:

You can get a normal rate quote through the disneyland site...but no, you can't put in the code.

Not a problem Molly! :flower3:

I just know the Dreams agents here (I'm not one of them BTW) really try hard to work with folks to get the best deals for them and they take care of folks really well. Mary Jo used to be one, you know!

It's not so much about control as finding someone to help you do it if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself. Most folks on the boards don't even know about them or have any clue that they have such a great resource at their disposal!!!

Heck - most people on the boards don't even know that the www.wdwinfo.com website belongs to DISBoards, too. They always recommend people to go to AllEars for info when we have a wealth of it that we are always revamping on this site!!!!

When do you want to go? If it's in the next month, one of us who is a current AP holder can give you the AP rates listed on the site, which you can only access if you are a registered AP owner. Otherwise, you have to call and ask. I believe the current AP8 or 9, whichever it is, has been extended to June 11. After that, an AP will only save you something like 10-15%, which might not be worth the purchase of an AP if that's the only reason you want one. The AP site will give you the rates for the next couple of months but as I said, the current big promo ends next month unless they decide to extend it again, which is probably iffy considering it's summer and peak season.

No one really knows with the present economic situation what the resort will choose to do regarding AP rates after June. There is usually a new promo that comes out for the fall. Last year they didn't announce it until around July, I think.
