Do you have to buy park ticket to buy dining plan?

we have 10 day passes from our pkg in Jan. we plan to use next February. If we stay on property can we purchase the dining plan without buying park passes?

I believe you have to purchase it as part of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package.

Unless you're buying it with a military salute deal, then you buy your tickets separately

You can get the dining plan without tickets, I asked about this recently. But you can't get free dining without tickets.

Yes. Your free dining is based on your nights at your resort. So you could stay 7 nights/6 days, and get 2 days of tickets... You'd have 7 of each meal.

Well, only when they're offering free dining. There isn't a FD offer out right now, it's typically in the fall.

Oh yes. I was assuming that free dining was offered and that I could get a room under that promo.

FD offers in the past required a minimum of 2 day tickets for everyone 3 years and older in the room, minimum 3 night stay and room at rack rate.
