Do you have to be enrolled and taking classes to do DCP?

I'm just confused.
I read that you have to be enrolled in college...but the DCP is 6 months?
Do you have to be enrolled in classes?
I just don't get how you can be enrolled in college but not go for 6 months...

Someone please explain!

You need to be currently enrolled in classes when you are applying for the college program. You do not need to be taking classes when you are actually participating in the program.
