Nope. Just enrolled in at least one course credit.

Does anyone know if this applies for the PI's as well? For example, if I graduate, take a class at a community college and then apply for a PI would it work?

I don't know for sure but a lot of the PIs have their own requirements specific to that job. Some require certain majors, certain years in school, etc.

You have to be enrolled in school to apply for the CP but you do not have to continue school when you come back, for example someone about to graduate could apply in their last semester.

For PI's you do have to be in school for most to all of them, there are many other additional requirements and some of them require you to return to school when you finish.
