I have a tin full of stamps, some Disney and some non-disney. I had used the disney stamps over a year ago and realized that I forgot to clean them off when I was done... the result, stamps with dried ink.

Some of the ink came off with peroxide... (Yes peroxide) but it was still tinted in the color ink... So as I was looking in my bathroom closet for something I came across the spray of "Scrubbing bubbles."

Hmm. Scrubbing Bubbles + Stamps? I decided to try it on one of my stamps to begin with. The ink was hard and wasn't coming off... it looked dirty and ruined. So I sprayed scrubbing bubbles. I left it for a few seconds for the bubbles to reside and rinsed it with plain old water... Guess what!! It looks brand new!! It does a teeny tiny spek of pink left in one little spot but the darker colors came right off. :)

Most, if not all, of Scrubbing Bubbles products have bleach in them and bleach can cause rubber to break down over time so I'm not sure I would want to risk ruining any of my stamps by using it, especially since a little staining doesn't affect the stamped image.

I am sure doing it once with scrubbing bubbles wont affect it. I am only saying use it when you notice you forgot from a previous use when it is dried. When you use it and the ink is still fresh water is good.
