My Dad was on December 20th, Me December 30th and Grampa on Jan 1st. My family knows better then to wrap my presents in Christmas wrap. LOL:lmao:

yep- dh is the 14th of december and mines the 17thof january.

dd reminded me yesterday when i said we'll stop and pick daddy this book up for xmas....she goes for daddys bday? i literally slapped my head and went oh crud yep his bday is first. not that i forgot it- but i was so hyped in having everyone finished for xmas i had forgotten his bday comes first. brilliant!!!

DD0 will be one on Dec. 23 and DD4 will be 5 on Dec. 29. Fil's b-day is Jan. 4 (he'll be 53).

I always keep birthday separate from Christmas. There is no reason not to do everything I do for the others just because their birthday is closer to Christmas.

Yup, my daughter was born on Dec 23. I wanted another baby very much & a friend & I, well, TMI, but we got our curse on the same day. I thought it would be fun if we had babies the same time. She didn't want a December baby. I ended up getting pregnant & she didn't but had her girl the following September. What was really strange is that while our girls were 9 months apart, but so were our firstborn kids--boys!

It was hard on my DD; no one was around because school was out for winter break and we found it hard to have birthday parties for her with all her friends. We did try & keep the day separate from Christmas & her presents were wrapped in birthday paper! Too bad I never thought about a "half" birthday in June or even an early party.

My birthday is Christmas Eve :santa:

My sis-in-law is Dec. 27th

My father is Jan. 10

My parents anniv. is January 17

Daughter's is Dec. 26

Niece is Nov. 24
Son's is Nov. 14
Nephew Nov. 10
Mine on the 23rd of Nov.
Mother's is Dec. 16
Aunt's Jan. 1
Brother's Jan. 2
Grandfather Jan. 10
Father (step but only father I ever knew), Jan. 11

Speaking financially, we are always broke around the holiday season. Sometimes my daughter will opt out of gifts for her bday and ask for her gifts in Feb. or March since Xmas is so close and she doesn't want to feel cheated. lol

My birthday falls about every 4 or so years on Thanksgiving. Have several birthdays of family members that fall in december.

In our family we laugh and say that my sister had the worst timing in the world. Her first daughter was due in early January but she was in a breech position so her doctor performed a c-section on Dec. 28th. Two years later DSis was pregnant and again due in mid January. Her doctor had already scheduled a c-section for the second week in January but DSis went into labor on December 23rd and her second daughter was born on Christmas Eve.

In my family there isn't a month without a birthday. I have a niece, a nephew and a BIL with birthdays in January, my DD and my birthday in February, my mom and another niece in March, a third niece in April, my dad and MIL in May, another BIL in June, my sister in July, DH in August, another sister and my brother in Sept., FIL and SIL in October, DS in November and the previously mentioned nieces in December. It's now become a habit to go to the local Hallmark on the first of every month to get cards.

DH on the the 20th and Dad on the 25th. He gets two presents from everybody that day.

DGS on 11 Dec
DGS on 18 Dec
DGD on 22 and
DGS on 13 Dec

Man... we go broke in December!:lmao: We can recoup till February ... we have 7 :scared1:

My DD was due on Christmas Day but didn't arrive until Jan. 4th. When she was little we celebrated a half-year party for her friends.
My DGD will be 1 on December 3rd. We will have a small family party but as she gets older my DD intends to give her half-year parties for her friends. I was always adament with the family that my DD was 2 get two distinct gifts for Christmas and her birthday. I didn't feel she should be short changed just because of her birthdate.

My DD(9) was born on the Dec 15th...her due date was Christmas Eve.

They induced me early, because my third baby was born very, very quickly. The Doctor was worried that I would not make it to the hospital...before she was born. So we picked her Birth Date according to our crazy schedules ;)...after her big brother's christmas concert on Monday & before Big sister's Christmas performance on Friday. My poor doctor thought I was crazy!

# out of the four of us in our immediate family have December birthdays. Both kids are Christmas week (one on the 22nd and one the 26th)--I am a bit earlier in the month on the 8th. Extended family adds:
DSiL and DBiL are twins and share my birthday on the 8th.
DMiL (and her twin) are on the 18th.
We alwasy say December is one big, happy, party:goodvibes

My brother in laws birthday is Dec 25. And he very obviously resents it. Still. He is MY AGE (30) and he has two children. You would think these things would make him Grow Up and at least allow his kids to enjoy Christmas but NOPE. Whenever he's around no one is allowed to watch Christmas movies, listen to Christmas music, watch the Christmas parade, nothing. He turns the news on and Throws A Fit if you change it. He is one of the reasons we are boycotting Christmas with Dh's family for as long as we can last...

That said, we do have other family members and friends who have birthday's around Christmas and they're all fine with it. I make sure we treat their birthday as their birthday and they never get a "combined" gift or anything. I will buy their gifts at the same time, but birthday is wrapped as birthday and Christmas as Christmas!

dd9 is Dec 22nd. She so far loves having her Birthday so close to Christmas. We have never had an issue of Birthday Parties, she always invites a handful of friends and everyone comes. I do my best to have her party as close or on her day if possible. This year her Birthday is a Tuesday and that is when she will have her party (we do home parties) I figured they all have a half day of school on the 23rd so her friends will be around. After school activities are done with by then and so far the few Mom's I spoke too thought it was a great idea.
Since her Birthday is so close to Christmas, we already have all the Christmas stuff up, we stick balloons in the tree that day and it becomes her Birthday tree!!

My DD's is Dec 16th. I came home from the hospital on the 21st.

I've always tried to keep her birthday separate from Christmas as far as parties and gifts.

I have two friends that were both born on Christmas Day.
