Do you have any family birthdays that fall around, or near, to Christmas?

The beginning of December was my late DH's birthday.. He had two birth certificates - with two different dates (the 3rd and the 5th) because he was born at home and his birth was filed twice..

We really get slammed from August through October..

my sis is Jan 1, and she got regifted gifts or just one "big"(ie, regular gift that says happy bday merry christmas) gift for bday/xmas her whole childhood, which was rather depressing for her.

SO if there are kids in your fam with a bday near xmas, please take the time to acknowledge their bday, and please take a moment to wrap in bday paper. She never got bday paper. Seems like such a small thing, but as a child, it really hurt her feelings that people didnt "care" about her bday.

But gift cards are nice, she gets to hit the after Xmas sales..

My son's birthday is on December 26th.

2 of my 3 children are December babies! The 8th and 19th. The 19th was suppose to be a Christmas baby, but I had 2 other kids at home and had a scheduled C Sec, so I scheduled it on Friday the 19th so my Mom would be available on the weekend to watch the 2 older ones and I would be home by the 23rd to be there for Christmas. Disney vacations are not the only things I plan!!!

Well mine is! I'm Dec. 7th, and my brother is Dec. 10th. I also have a cousin who bday falls on Dec. 21. My grandpa is Jan. 2nd...we miss his almost every year!!!!

My birthday is Dec. 30 and my sister's is Jan. 6. We used to get our birthday presents wrapped in Christmas paper until we protested as kids and my mom stopped doing that! Nowadays I don't care. I'm used to having a Christmas tree up on my birthday.

My father in law's b-day is 12/21. My nephew is 12/17, and my niece is 12/19. Sister in law is 12/12.

Close enough to hurt the budget.....I am 11/23, dh is 11/24, my dad is 12/5 and my son is 1/20 (which I'm usually still broke and trying to "catch up" when his b-day rolls around).

ah, yes. My older son's birthday is Dec.12th. When he was little, I always waited until after his birthday to decorate for Christmas (I didn't want to take the focus off of his birthday.) This year, as he turns 30, DH & I will celebrate his birthday with him and his wife in DisneyWorld!

My brother & SIL's triplets were born on Dec.15th. I have a SIL with a Dec.24th birthday.

DD's Bday is the 18th. exactly 7 days before Christmas. My parents anniversary is on the 19th. and my sister and nieces birthday is January 12th.

My DD abosutely hates her birthday gifts wrapped in Christmas paper. I actually sent out paper with her invites. I know, tacky but it really hurt her feelings when she was younger.

DD will be 10 on Nov 30. My Mom's is Dec 20. My BIL is Dec 24..poor guy told me that I am the ONLY person who ever gave him birthday presents in birthday paper.....broke my heart since he was almost 18 when we met.

My niece on Nov 24, nephews on Dec 2,3 4, 6, me on the 7th, my sister-in-law on the 26th, brother on the 31 and dad on Jan 25 and mom on Jan 31--way too crazy around here during the holidays-lol.
