I think its sad how many people with near Christmas birthday's have it lost in the Christmas celebrations.
My mom's birthday is Christmas and my aunts is Jan 2.
When they were kids, my aunt used to get upset if the family Christmas tree was taken down before her birthday, because she wanted a it for her birthday just like her big sister (my mom)
My grandmother always did Christmas in the morning, and birthday after supper for my mom. I grew up thinking birthday cake was the normal Christmas dessert!
It was weird the first time I was away from my mom at Christmas, because the birthday celebration was missing
