At what temperature do you set the thermostat on the heater??

We had to replace the heater and just can't get it to the right temperature. DH and I feel like steamed lobsters this morning.

We have one. I love the feeling of getting into a warm bed. That's why we haven't replaced it yet -- although my back tells me I really should. If I'm reading the thermometer correctly, it's set about 82. I know we turn it down in the heat of the summer.

Thanks cgcw.

This thermostat is not too exact and it seems to get too hot or too cold.

When we had a water bed, we had it set at around 80.

We got rid of it last year, even though I knew I would miss that warm bed.

Well, my back thanked me for that new California King mattress!
We bought an electric blanket and I turn it on about 1/2 hour before I get into bed. It is wonderful!!!!

I cant remember what ours was originally set on...and it was a perfect temp. last weekend our air went out so we turned it down to 70--the lowest it would go--to help keep cool. Got our a/c fixed and put it back up to about 80 but it seems just a little to warm so now we are going to try 78 and see how that goes. lisajl--how hard is it to find sheets for your cali king?? We are thinking of getting one (dh doesnt like our water mattress) and I dont think I see many of those sheets anywhere.

and we adjust it to our likes.....remember that your body is normally 98.6......and anything lower then that is cooler to our body.....we usually keep it around 85 and in the summer too.......if we didnt' have a water bed.....probably hubbys old body would not want to get up in the morning...(not me of course).....we are on our second bladder....which is the water bed recepticle......we love it

We have had ours for about 20 yrs. and are on our 2nd bladder. We have a king size bed. I use flat king sized regular sheets. I'm not sure where I would even find a waterbed sheet and don't thing that I'd want them anyway. We turn our temperature up and down depending upon the weather. We keep our window open all winter long as well so having the warm bed (but not too warm) is wonderful.

okay how do I get my dgrdd's name off of my status line? I hate it when kids know more than you about the computer expecially when they are a lot younger.
