I have a lot of plants, I really love them! It takes forever to water them though:eek:

My brother used to live in this converted warehouse and he had 4 huge skylights so he brought in all these tropical plants, it was so cool! Like walking into the jungle!

My house isnt quite so bad but I do enjoy having a lot of greenery around.

ZERO!! I'm not a green thumb, but rather a dead thumb. My history of gardening goes like this. A plant has to be self sufficient, it has to be able water itself & prune itself of dead leaves etc, or it just won't survive around me.:)

I have lots of empty plant containers that used to have plants in them before I got my hands on them. :( I definitely don't have a green thumb.

Oh boy do I:teeth:
My Mom and I both used to work for a plant service. We would go into offices and restaurants to take care of their plants.
Anyho, part of the job included replacing dying or damaged plants and often we would keep them and try to bring them 'round to health again. Mom and Dad retired to New Mexico and left me all their plants. I now have 50+ around the house. Some I have had since 1982.
It takes me awhile to water them all each week!

After years of trying I gave up and now just so with fake plstic plants and flowers
:)

Me too!!! With one thing to add...........if a plant is plastic it'll do just fine at my house!:D

My house is where good plants come to die! My husband has forbidden me to buy anything else that needs to be watered!!! Only silk plants for me from now on. :(

I have three. They refuse to die, no matter what I do.

Yep, sure do. :) I don't like fake plants, so I have real ones. Most are ivys since they are easy to keep alive. ;) I have one ficus tree that's been alive for a few years. I killed about 3 ferns inside, but my ferns outside are thriving. :)

I use to...but have slowly lowered the number. I just didn't have the time to water them. I do well with house plants, just not enough time. I had one tree that was about to go through our ceiling and another plant that was getting too tall and wide. The others I got rid of were small. I do have 6 left though.

Only about a dozen now, but I used to have many, many more. Some well-meaning relative decided that they’d ‘help me’ by getting rid of a lot of them. (It was heart breaking to see the plants I’d cared for in the garbage, but I did rescue some aloe vera.) Although they were sort of unruly looking, at least they were alive. Now that I have my computer in the same area (basement) and will be spending a lot of time here, I 'm going to expand my collection. I love African Violets and want to get several of them in different colors.

you have an alive ficus???

Im jealous! Thats the one plant I cant keep alive no matter what!!!

I have one that grew from a cutting of the plant my Mom got when she gave birth to me. :) She still has the original plant. She told me if I kill it she will kill me! ;) Luckily it is a very low maintenance plant! :)

I don't have any. I either over water them or under water them and they kinda die on me.:o

Not at home -- the cat made mincemeat of them. But at work I have plants all along my window ledge and they florish there.
