shoes?

My DD (5) loves shoes! She doesn't get that from me, I buy shoes as I need them. This morning I told her that we were going to the shoe store. Her response with a huge smile on her face, "Oh mom, that's my favorite store!" She had so much fun trying on shoes, she wanted to buy everything. Unfortunately, we left empty-handed as we couldn't find sandals in her size.

I can't believe how excited my DD gets over shoes!

My neice, who is 11, decided to try on every pair of my shoes last time she was here, and parade around in them

My 8 year old loves shoes, which is funny, cause I've been wearing the same heeled sandals for like 4 years. She must have like 20 pairs that fit her right now. When we go shopping, she heads right for the shoe department. She can also give a detailed description of what kind of shoes each child in her class has, plus the ones they had before. She is definitely a shoe-a-holic!

LOL!!! Sure sounds like it!

I told my DH about this morning with DD and he thought it was so funny. Our boys are older and they don't really care what clothes or shoes they wear, not yet anyway. Well, except older DS who won't wear yellow. In his words, he looks like a dork in yellow.

I knew it would be interesting with DD when at 2 yrs. of age, she insisted on wearing a specific shirt. Can't wait for those teenage years!
