age doesn't matter unless you're at that point like (12-15) where maturity really changes in a years time.
matt just turned 22 and i'm about to turn 18, and we're on (virtually) the same maturity level. i don't even notice that he's older than me, to be honest. i forget about it unless someone points it out.
maturity level is so much more important than age, in my opinion.
I totally agree. Every year from 12 to 15 I matured a lot. After I turned 16 I noticed a difference in how much I matured. I still matured but mostly from experiences and not just growing up.
My boyfriend and I get along because we are on the same maturity level. Either he's really mature or I'm really immature or it falls somewhere in the middle.
