Do you hang your granny panties out for the world to see?

I live in England, and around here nearly everyone I know hangs their clothes outside (including underwear) especially in the warmer months. We have a dryer but only use it if its raining outside, and even then we tend to use our indoor clothes rack before the dryer. Its cheaper and better for the environment

I used to hang clothes outside and the underwear went up just like the jeans, shirts, towels, sheets. Never cared if anyone saw them or not. People wear underwear, why shouldn't they see that you wash them too?

I have to agree with Chattyaholic, everyone wears underwear, so why is it strange or almost 'taboo' that underwear needs to be washed and dried

One day in early spring/late winter, when it was still too cold for the flowers and trees to bloom, yet warm enough for people to be outside doing yard work getting ready for spring's arrival, the daughter ran to the store just for a small amount of time, which was fine. When she returned home to her middle upper class home in her middle upper class neighborhood, she found that her mom had washed all her granny panties and hung them outside to dry ... in the front yard ... on the tree branches. She had bloomer ornaments in her trees that were flapping away in the breeze.

Ok, I probably shouldn't laugh but... That is hilarious!
