Do you guys think a cabana at DLH is a good idea?

So we have a cabana reserved for our arrival day this Sunday since we will be getting to the DLH around 10:30am and not doing the parks that day. But it looks like the high temperature is only 64 for Sunday and I am wondering if the pool area will even be that crowded? We live in Texas, so 64 is usually not pool weather for us. Lol

I reserved it thinking the pool area might be crowded if temps were going to be a bit warmer. Do you guys think it will be crowded with temps that low?

I have no idea if it will be crowded, however my kids and I would not go to the pool if the high was 64 as that would be too cold for us. We live in Tucson, Arizona.

Hope you have a great time.

If the prediction is accurate, the pool will likely not be crowded. On the other hand the cabana would be more comfortable.

The forecast could always change.
Yesterday, Anaheim was 90 — highest temperature in the U.S.

On the other hand, Sunday might be your only chance to see fireworks. Use the cabana funds to add a park day

We were there last week during some dance competition and I am assuming most were staying on site but could not get to the park because of the competition but the pool was very very packed and it was about 65 degrees. We had to go back to our room to come back later because there was not one chair. I will say it is the most packed we have ever seen it.

It all depends on how busy the hotel is. The pools are heated. DD will get in the pool as long as it is not raining.

Thanks all! I just checked the website and there are still rooms showing up for Sunday night so they are not sold out. I will wait a day or two but likely cancel if the weather is going to be that cool. I don’t want to pay for a cabana if there is plenty of lounge space to be had during such cooler weather.

We were at CR and GF in late December and early January. Even on the nice days the pool areas were not crowded. On the 60 degree days there were very very few people at the pools.

It probably won't even break 60 on Sunday. A major cold/storm front is sweeping in this weekend.

I'd cancel the cabana now. Its gonna be sweatshirt weather Sunday.
Yeah, looks like the temps have trended even colder.

I’m at DLH now and it was super warm today and I had no issue getting regular lounge chairs at 4 this afternoon. There were definitely a decent amount of people in the pool but not uncomfortably full.
