Just wondering how many people will visit US to do the park itself before HHN starts and then stay all night for HHN. I remember doing it one year and it seemed to be a really long day, but we also knew NOTHING about US or HHN. Not that we know much more now, but it being our third HHN it might be a little easier getting around since we know the park a little bit now. We will most likely do the RIP tour so there wont be much waiting at night.

What do you think?

We'll be there for 4 nights of HHN. I like a break in between touring the parks and heading out to HHN. We'll have Express and one night a RIP tour so no need for staying straight through. Also, I like it dark when we do the houses.

We did it once and it was a LONG day/evening.

I do spend most of my days at one or both parks before HHN, but I throw in an afternoon break at the hotel so I can freshen up, change clothes, etc. before returning for the event. I also delegate one day (usually Saturday) where I take the time to sleep in, do some laundry and relax until it's time to go back for HHN. It keeps me from getting too exhausted.

Since I live in Orlando, I only come over for HHN. Being able to do S & S every night I go is great!

We are going for the first time to HHN this year. I jhave always wanted to go and until recently this was not affordable to us. I am soo excited but totally clueless. I just relized last night from reading on the DIS that they have a place to enter for onsite hotel guests. We were planning on going in early and waiting around at Finnigans. I can not wait. Still looking for airfare to go down since I just decided a couple of weeks ago to go.. October 4-8 can not get here soon enough. We have not had a big vacation since November 2011. We are also coming down to Universal in December to the Christmas shows. Very excited about this.:cool1::cool1:

We spend the whole day with a break at some point to go back to the hotel and relax for a bit. Then we spend the whole night.. Well.. we used to, but haven't been in a few years.

i didn't vote in your poll since the category that fits me, wasn't listed.

maybe you could add "other" to it.

i change my activities each day around so can't say i have one routine for hhn.

i might do a little of both parks before i go to the studios and get a table at finnegans.
kind of depends if i am meeting up with homies that day.

i hit hhn 4 nights straight and wish i could do more.
started doing hhn in 1999, completely and totally addicted to hhn.

i always do the day house tours before i do the hhn.
i like to be able to notice the added touches and more detail background before i do the night time event.

i do like yesterday's birthday homie does..lycaon, sleep in on saturday, hang out at the resort and then go to the studio for some rides, then head to sns.

i'm there for 10 days this year on site so i do get plenty of park time in for rides, shows, entertainment and pin shopping.

We're going to HHN on Oct 7, after three full days at the parks. Our plan is to sleep in that day, lounge at the HRH hotel pool, take a nap, shower, change, and head to US for a couple of rides, followed by an early dinner at Finnegan's, some liquid encouragement, then do Stay & Scream - head to Silent Hill as soon as they release us. Can't think of a better day. . .
