If you are asking this question before you buy:
Perks are not guarenteed and are subject to change at any time. Currently there is a good AP discount, a few restuarant discounts (even without the DDE), waterpark/minigolf and PI discounts. You are not considered a Florida resident -
DVC perks are seperate from FL resident perks.
There is currently also the privledge to pool hop, subject to some restrictions (black out periods during holidays, no hopping to SAB or AKL).
In the past we had a discount on UPHs, but not APs, and in the distant past DVC members had free passes. We've had discounts to Cirque, but they seem pretty seasonal and off and on.
Disney occationally offers us "special cruises" These aren't discounted, but the members who go say the extra goodies are worth the cruise. However, I've never seen a discount on cruises. IMO, cruising on points is usually not a good deal, but do the math, because it occationally can be.
There is a discount on cash rooms within DVC, but no general resort discount.
And, once again (because I believe this has been a point of dissatisfaction with some members) perks are not guarenteed.
