Do you get the boot on Halloween party nights?

I have no problem at all with people having ADRs right up to, but not including 7 PM. But they really do need to be escorted to the exit. Because apparently people cannot be trusted to scoot out on their own. Shocking.

I understand your point, but disagree due to the number of people who continually try to cheat the system.

Crystal Palace closes at 9pm today and MK is open until 11pm. Where are the people complaining that they should be able to be seated up until 11, because they paid for it? The hours of the restaurant are separate from those of the park. Therefore I don't see it unreasonable that they "close" the restaurant at 6pm to non-party guests. Day guests can make ADRs before then, or eat dinner elsewhere. Just my opinion!:confused3

Well, I think we can at least agree that people cannot be trusted to leave the park on their own. So at the very least Disney needs to find a way to have every late dinner guest escorted to the exit.

I am sorry, but to me, that is just beyond silly. If Disney wanted to treat their people paying the $60 so well, they should stop being so greedy and close the park for the hour in between so nobody is in there without a party pass. if people happen to leave their ADP, which once again, Disney allowed them to get even knowing they would be there when they shouldn't be, then shame on Disney and not the people who paid to get into the park and paid for their dinner and paid to leave the park as well.

Your beef should be with Disney for not at the VERY least, forcing people without party tickets to get their ADP up to 6pm at the latest or something like that. I for one would not run my 6 year old out of the park during a parade because we are "trying to get something for nothing". Especially when I am dropping $3000 for my next vacation. Sorry...$3000 to me isn't nothing.

This is why I would never stay after hours on a party night...who needs the aggravation coming from the beautiful people who pay the extra money to go to the party while us schmucks in steerage do not.

We all pay to be at Disney. The $3000 you spent is the same as the $3000 I spent. The difference is I decided to pay the extra $200 for my family of 3 to attend the party. I think it is great Disney allows people to book until 7 for Adr's on party nights this way you aren't eating during your park time.

Disney used to do just that! While they didn't clear everyone out of the parks, they did herd everyone with party tickets into one mob, and put up ropes, the whole bit. People complained, so Disney has gone to not clearing the parks.

The last few times I have been to one of the parties, they have been very vigilant in checking for wrist bands. And apparently they need to continue to be. If you are a "schmuck" and don't pay for a party ticket, don't be an even bigger schmuck and try to take advantage of an extra you were too cheap to pay for.

I liked being escorted to the exit. It made me feel like a celebrity, with my bodyguard entourage leading the way through the masses of adoring fans.

I believe that Disney has solved this problem. We were in the MK on the night of MVMCP on Dec. 1, 2013 and when we came out of Be Our Quest restaurant from our 6pm reservation they had a cast member waiting to escort us out of the park. The cast member had a cute battery operated candle opera to guide us to our destination and to make sure we did not stop anywhere along the way. So it you have a late dinner meal and no ticket for the party be sure you go to the bathroom before you leave the restaurant as there is no stopping anywhere up to the gates. We saw several other cast members escorting other guest just like us.

I don't know if I felt like a celebrity, but certainly not like a criminal like another poster stated. It was no big deal. I chatted with her along the way. We were leaving with a couple and they got separated from us because of the crowds. She was kinda worried about losing them and I'm not sure if they broke away on purpose or not. I hope she didn't get in trouble, not that they could track them to her.

I'm surprised Disney doesn't run a bus that sucks people without wristbands into it and then just shoots them out to the front. Better yet, if you don't walk straight out without stopping and without even glancing at the parade God Forbid, then you go to Disney jail.

better bring your dog bones to entice the dog with the key...

Sounds like a good idea to me!!! So when I enter BTMRR at 659 and exit at 745 after a 40 minute standby wait, I'd love to experience either of the above scenarios. Probably worth more than the $60 party fee. ;)

Again, it might be worth paying $60 for the party just to be able to watch people getting booted out!!

Logistically, how does it work? Say I do exit BTMRR at 745. Would there be a CM at the ride exit checking for wristbands? Or are they scattered around checking randomly? Conceivably, there might be 20,000 or more non-party guests still present at 7pm. Allowing for groups, possibly 5,000 different parties. Are there that many CMs to individually escort them to the gate? Or do they escort them part of they way, then pass them off to other CMs, and so on?

After exiting BTMRR at 745, I wouldn't mind being blindfolded and cattle-prodded to the exit.

For starters, I doubt it will take you 45 minutes on a ride once the party starts. Most patrons are heading to the exit voluntarily. And rides during a party have very short lines, as guests paying for a special event tend to do party-specific things, not things they can do for a lot less on a multi-day regular park ticket.

I don't think they escort you out as you get off the ride. But you cannot enter another ride or character queue without showing your wristband. You cannot enter a shop or make a purchase without a band. There are ropes set up at the entrance to each land and you cannot enter another land without showing your band. There are CMs checking bands along Main Street and up in the train station.

Prepare to be flamed. I am guessing that if you don't wear blinders to cover your eyes and don't walk as fast as possible to the front gate, then people here are going to call you out as gaming the system. LOL, too funny! :rotfl2:

Do the candles sing to you on the way out??
