Do you get laughed at for your Disney obsession?

I am finding more and more that i am. The people i live with think i'm funny cause when im stressed out its all i want to talk about (i try my hardest not to though). When i was living at home i just talked to my mom, and we would have a good old chat and i would feel better.

Here its just like i want to burst! Plus no one here has been, so they don't know what i am talking about!

They all laugh when i start talking about disney and tease me about it, when only my closest friends at school knew about it. Most of the people here went on gap years and travelled the world and ask why i don't go out and experience something real. They just don't understand

Does anyone else get teased for their disney obsession?

I used carry a disney purse.
I still carry a disney book bag.
I use disney pencils.
I wear tons of disney shirts.
My keychain is full of disney stuff.

Nobody notices...
or
They know if they say something I'll go off on a rant about how they should go.....

I cant talk to my boyfriend about it ether, cause hes never been, so he just switches off.

No. Everyone around me accepts my weirdness for what it is.
Trust me, I like a lot more weird things than just Disney.
And Disney's not that weird.

Everyone knows, Disney is part of my personlity, but fortunately so is humor. So when people make jokes, i can laugh with them.

Yes I do all the time my dads not a big disney fan and all my mom likes disney alot and is a disser but she doesnt dis 24/7 like i do so to her sometime my disney obsesion does get annoying but hey my dads not going on our next disney trip in 09 since he thinks that he has been "too many" times but disney is never complete and something is always changing that is why there is a missing flag on the castle in Disneyland because he never wanted Disneyland to be complete theres always something new so i wouldnt mind going every year but my family thinks thats too much

I don't get directly made fun of. I just have people give me funny looks. I brag that I am a Disney Fanatic and that I have been to Walt Disney World 13 times

I usually laugh along too, esspecially when they laugh at me for wanting to work at the world after i graduate university in 2010.

I can usualyl cope with it, but sometimes i feel like i just want to tell them to shut up cause they don't know what they're talking about!

lol all the time.. let me put it in perspective... im a COLLEGE GUY that loves disney cartoons and shows.... not to mention that my college is pretty much a jock college (football is huge here), so that doesnt help either.. luckily, i joke around all the time.. so for all of the flames they throw at me, i can easily throw back at them lol

Last night went out clubing with a whole load of people, and found another disney obessive who lives two flats up!

yay someone to talk to about me love of disney Feeling a bit better now!
