If we stay at one of the resort, do we get free shuttle from mco to resort? How about from resort to port canaveral? how much does it cost per person?
We have 7 people, the $70 disney shuttle from mco to port is a bit high for me.

The Magical Express is a free shuttle service from MCO to WDW resorts (and back). As long as you have a resort reservation you can use it.

The transportation from WDW resorts to port, and MCO to port (plus reverse) is done by DCL transfers and costs $35.00 per person each way.

Yes, the resort to port transfers are pricey, especially for 7 people. It would be cheaper to use a limo service such as Happy Limo (check their prices online) and it's cheaper yet to rent a car. You can either drop off the car at the port then pick up another rental when you return; or park the rental at the port garage and pay parking. Some people prefer to pay parking rather than pay for two rentals and shuttling back and forth to the rental agency.

We rent a car from Avis or Budget. Both have a location on Hotel Plaza Blvd by Disney Springs.

You can get a minivan for about $100. Just get a one way rental. Paying for a rental car and paying to park it there for a week makes no sense and is a huge waste of money.

There is a shuttle to and from the port to the Avis or Budget location in Cape Canaveral.
