Do you get a free character meal with each set of Canadian Deals ?

Hi.
I was curious. We are a family of 5. So we would be buying 2 of the Canadian specials, and 1 full price pass. My question is....Do we get a free character meal with each set of tickets. ie would I buy my husbands and my passes, then get a character meal, then buy the kids passes, and get a character meal? Im thinking if just 2 people were going to Disney, they would get a character meal, right? So shouldnt we be able to get at least 2 meals out of this deal? Im not trying to cheat the system, just trying to make the best of it. With our dollar, every little bit would help!

Every person who has a Canadian ticket is entitled to the breakfast. In your case, since you would be purchasing two adult and two child tickets under the Canadian special, you would receive two adult and two child breakfast vouchers.

Why is it that the information on the Disneyworld.ca site (and in the newspaper advertisement) does not mention any character breakfast? Is it that you have to buy your tickets from a particular vendor to get the character breakfast attached to the buy one get one 1/2 price tickets? I just want to make sure that people aren't banking on something that they won't get.

I would like to know the answer to this myself. I haven't seen anything 'official' indicating that these park hoppers include a character breakfast. I've only seen it mentioned on these boards.

I bought my buy one get one half price from Flight Centre. I did get a character breakfast for free. If you go to the Holiday House website it will tel you about it there.

I have posted on this many times before, and I was also under the impression that the free character meals are only available through wholesale travel agencies like Holiday House. To purchase through Holiday House (wholesale travel), you must go through an authorized travel agency. We use Sears Travel or American Express Travel, and it seems that all of the big travel agencies have access to Holiday House. The free character breakfast voucher that you get through Holiday House must be redeemed at Guest Services in Animal Kingdom, and its only for several restaurants: Ohanas (Polynesian Resort), Restaurantosaurus (Animal Kingdom), Garden Grille (Epcot) and Hollywood and Vine (MGM Studios). I would double-check before you purchase your tickets because if you can get a free character breakfast out of it, it's greatly worth it because the vouchers cover food, tax and tip! Also, I haven't heard of anyone who purchased tickets from CAA or through Disney who received the free character breakfast either - my travel agent told me that it's an added incentive only offered between travel wholesale companies and Disney because they sell such a huge volume of tickets. I called CRO earlier today and asked the CM about the Character Breakfast. She said that they were included with the special Canadian offer. I'm pretty sure that she said that it applied to all tickets bought under the special Canadian offer. Maybe I'll call again tomorrow to confirm.

One quick tip: My local FlightCentre is selling the tickets individually - i.e. you don't have to buy two to get the special price.

And for some reason The Disney Store in Toronto is refusing to sell these until Nov 15th. Any advice on the best places to pick these up?

Hi I just called the disney store in Winnipeg, they said that their special does not include the character breakfast. Also the price was higher for the 1/2 price special.... $494.69 as opposed to $471.89

I first learned of this deal while on the phone making client ressies with CRO. I was told by CRO that the Canadian ticket did include the character breakfast. Holiday house is of course including it as well as other wholesalers that travel agents use. Not sure at all why passes bought at the Disney store would not include it. If in doubt check with your TA.

I was in at the CAA last night for another reason, and asked this question about their companion tickets. The first agent didn't know, the second said he didn't think so, but when he read the information said Yes! (and thanks for letting me know). Now, if only I were headed south.

That's good news! Thanks for letting us all know. It's nice to know that there are several ticket options available to us as Canadians which also include bonuses such as free character breakfasts!

OK... I just got my passes at the Flight Centre in Toronto. Their vouchers come from World of Vacations, and they do include the character breakfast.

Looks like all of the passes come with the character breakfast. Here's a response I got from WDW Guest Services.
